Behind the Scenes with Dr. Julia has as its mission to be both informative and humorous. Neither may be accomplished, but if you have nothing better to do I highly recommend reading every issue.

This Issue...
...is hardly an issue at all. No, it's not very professional of me, but... what is the definition of professional anyway? In truth, is it not someone that is paid? Why, yes it is! Since I do not get paid anything at all (even though I desire to be paid with all my heart) clearly, I am off the hook.I sit in a hotel as I write this newsletter to you, using a foreign laptop that doesn't contain one iota of my software nor files (and I hate the keyboard!). I even had no internet access up to a few moments ago - and to top it off, I'm loosing connection every other sentence!
July was a month full of distractions and Dr. Julia took several brief holidays which made it almost impossible for us to get together.
After Dr. Julia and I discussed our situation, it was determined that we should at least send you a note to tell you what's new. Once I'm home and Dr. Julia's back to work we'll send out a proper Ezine.
Caption Contest!
We're having a Caption Contest! Look at the snapshot and come up with your best one liner that explains Dr. Julia's exchange with this snail.
Keep in mind that your caption needs to be short enough to fit on a coffee mug (and be read without the aid of a magnifying glass!) so, the less wordy, the better. You may even submit more than one caption if you can't decide which you like the best.
We're only accepting submissions until August 31st. At that time, we'll put it to a vote via Twitter, Facebook, and of course on www.advice-with-dr-julia.com.

What's New
Well, there are two new sections that I hope you will like and really have a good time with! They are special sections just for subscribers.The first is BTS Chat.
Dr. Julia, I'm sure, will likewise pop in and out of the conversations... I'm just saying.
You may want to get advice from several sources and then weigh it against the advice you get from Dr. Julia. It should come as no surprise when you find that Dr. Julia's is the best. I'm just saying. (Thought I'd use that phrase a second time in case you missed it before.)
