ECards!

Okay, subscriber friends, besides this great, uh... whatever the heck it is that we're sending you each month, you can add to the fun by sending Dr. Julia eCards!

Nothing says "I love you" (or "Get your act together!") like a Dr. Juliaism. And only you three, my faithful subscribers, have access to them... after I send you the link and secret password, that is.

Each month, after you receive your issue of Behind the Scenes With Dr. Julia, a separate email will be sent to you that includes the link and password so that you can bother people via their in-box as often as you like!

***Please Note***

Password changes monthly! Can't have my mom sending Ecards without subscribing,
now can I?

Behind the Scenes with Dr. Julia has as its mission to be both informative and humorous. Neither may be accomplished, but if you have nothing better to do I highly recommend reading every issue.

This Month's Funny Advice

Breakfast at Lunch Time

Every morning that I arise I feel like Rip Van Winkle... minus the beard. Well, maybe some chin hair, but that's why they invented wax, right?

I went to sleep in December and woke up in February. It's like a morning that got away from me - like a morning that just zipped on by before I had the chance to eat breakfast.

I find it hard to believe that I went through Christmas then February - totally bypassing the New Year and January! I was like Dagwood. Remember Blondie and Dagwood?

Every morning Dagwood would find he was late, too late for breakfast, zoom recklessly through the front door and plow down the poor mailman... every time.

I hear say that breakfast is the most important meal. It's the stuff you need to start your day right. Well, I'm gonna backtrack for breakfast, slow down a second here. If you missed breakfast too, why not join me in some now? Better late than never.

January, a month I tried to totally skip, is a most important month. It's the beginning of a new year, a good time to reflect and project as well.

If you haven't already, think about last year and what you did. What was good, great, or could have been a whole lot better?

What do you want to do and be in these fleeting days ahead? What's important to you and your family?

Here are some simple steps to add to your pondering that just may help you to have a happy and healthy new year...

    Step 1
Step outside everyday for fresh air and exercise.

    Step 2
Step around the dog droppings in the grass.

    Step 3
Step aside when there's not enough room for everybody.

    Step 4
Step inside someone's shoes when you just don't understand.

    Step 5
    Step up to the plate.

    Step 6
    Step outside of yourself.

    Step 7
Step back to think and ponder.

    Step 8
    Step in puddles with children.

    Step 9
    Step over puddles otherwise.

    Step 10
Step by step - one step at a time.

Now, before I go to bed tonight, I'm gonna set the alarm for the next day... or at least for February! I suggest you do the same.
