Of course, this comic is inspired by one of my favorite tales by Hans Christian Andersen, The Ugly Duckling... I actually tear up at parts. Such a sweet story.

Dr. Julia says that this swan is living proof that mothers make mistakes. After all, they're only human... or... ducks.

I've put this cartoon on both a coffee mug and a note card. I think they would be great to use as a reminder to Mom on just how great you turned out LOL - and the note cards would make for awesome invitations for family get togethers, no?
