I don't know about you, but I love to hear funny animal stories. I love Beatrix Potter and her animal stories for kids, and I'm sure that her stories had a bit of truth to some of them... a bit of truth, that is.However, every bit of the story that I'm about to tell you is true! Oh, some of the dialog had to be embellished here and there, but the events and names were not changed to protect the innocent. This is the story of Mr. Duck. He lives here on our farm... and in and around our pond. His story is an amazing story of friendships lost, bravery and perseverance, loneliness, and true love. Is this one of those funny animal stories for kids? Yes! But this is a true story, lived by Mr. Duck with trials, hardships, and love. Is that not a story for grown ups too? You betcha!
