My dream of my ex?

Dear Dr. Julia,

I've had dreams of me and my ex spending time together recently. This is very odd because he won't say a word to me in reality because of his new girlfriend.

They haven't been together long, but every night I dream of him texting me or speaking to me in some way.

Does this dream mean anything at all?

Nope.

Other than the fact that you'd like to think that even though he has a new girlfriend, deep inside, he still wants to talk to you.

It's just an "ego" dream that you're having.

Now, go to sleep.... and "let go your ego"!
