It's time to play Name That Toon!

Yes, this is the start of something beautiful.

If you haven't noticed, every Sunday we put up a new cartoon.

I've decided that it might be fun to have you all come up with a title for each new Sunday comic.

All you have to do is look at the comic and tell us what you think it should be called. Dr. Julia and I will pick which one is the best (or which one you all think is the best) and we will duly Name That Toon.

Your title will be displayed wherever that cartoon is found - here, on this page, on coffee mugs, on calenders, in books, on prints, on Oprah or wherever.

A little about this cartoon...

A certain fellow that I know from my website building escapades has set off to sail around the world - but not in eighty days!

Alf (AKA Alex) - or is it vice-versa - Alex (AKA Alf)? plans to circumnavigate for quite some time with a worthy crew... leaving his beloved gal on shore.

When I told Dr. Julia about Alf, she remembered a certain gull and the troubles that are associated with seafaring men.

We dedicate this cartoon to Alf!
