Need a Funny Comeback for Craigslist

Cello For Sale...
if you have nothing better to do, email me several times - whether or not you're interested!

Dear Dr. Julia,

I have a cello that I am selling and I posted it for sale on Craigslist.

I am going back and forth with emails for a couple of weeks with this guy that said he was interested. We set a date for him to come and look at the cello.

The guy then sends me this email...
"i apologize but my coworker's father in law has to have some limbs amputated and i'm the only one who can cover for him. ill let you know about the following saturday though if that day is ok."

Something tells me that this guy is not on the up and up. What's a good, funny comeback email I could send this wise guy?

Thanks!

Go Out on a Limb for This One NEW
by: Dr. Julia

Hi Cello,

This gentleman has given you a wonderful opportunity in that the comebacks are virtually endless.

The first reply that pops in my mind (and usually, the first is the best) would be to email this joker:

Dear (insert joker's name),

Next Saturday will be fine. I'd give you a hand, but I lost mine in an expedition of the North Pole (due to overexposure and frostbite).

For this cause I am forced to sell my beloved cello, and I do so with regret.

See you Saturday!

What if it's not a joke? NEW
by: Connie

You Guys! What if he is serious? He says it's his co-worker he is filling in for. Maybe his co-workers father in law suffered from diabetes for many years, didn't take care of himself and ACTUALLY is having a limb or two amputated. YIKES!

Could be a weirdo, but also could be a very tragic situation. I would tread lightly.
