Two Inches of Partly Cloudy...

by Jacki
(Grand Forks, B.C.)

When I first moved to Dawson Creek in the Peace Country of British Columbia, it was an eye opener.

The weather forecast was for calling for partly cloudy conditions, low of 3 degrees Celsius, and a high of 4.

When I woke up in the morning, much to my surprise there was snow on the ground, so the saying was born. 'Two inches of partly cloudy' means something has happened that's not supposed to!
