Dreams With Ringing Alarm Clocks?
So I wake up and look at my alarm clock. It's 5:27. I try to go back to sleep, but I can't.
I keep tossing and turning and feeling this strain in my neck.
So after what feels to be 10 minutes trying to go back to sleep, I look at my clock and it's still 5:27, so I lay my head down.
Then I hear my alarm clock ringing at the wrong time than it should be. I look over (with my head still on my pillow) and the time is still the same.
Then I wake up from my dream, at 6:30, and my alarm clock is ringing, but this time.. 6:30 was the time I set it to.
What does that mean?
Dearest Morgan,
It was only an hour earlier than your usual rise time. Would it have killed you to just get out of bed? You know what they say about the "early bird" and "he who lies late" don't you?
Your dream is most likely a sign as to the fact that you feel pressed for time. Not enough hours in the day to accomplish what you need to get done.
Unfortunately, you also know that there aren't enough hours in the night in which to sleep either.
Thus, you toss and turn - struggling to get enough sleep before you face another stressful day. A day that just seems to want to start earlier and earlier.
As to the pain in your neck... Well, it's most likely someone you know.
