What Does This Dream Mean?

HELP ME, Dr. Julia!!!!!!!

I had a dream that I was in a room with a friend of mine named Nick. The room was all white, no words were ever spoken during this dream, I was staring into his eyes, and he was staring into mine.

Then, out of nowhere, the room was raining glass, and he leaned over and kissed me softly. Then the whole room shattered and we died.

Nick and I have never dated before, and we barely get to spend time together. What does this dream mean?

Dear Summer,

Everything is bright and clean as long as there is no word of your true feelings.

You fear that if there was any movement toward anything more than friendship, the relationship that you and Nick now enjoy would fall to pieces.

And you know what, Summer? "Friendships" between guys and girls really are that fragile... and they can even be a little on the dangerous side. But believe me, it won't kill either one of you to test waters to find true love. Time will tell if it was just a sea of glass.
